Our team includes former executives of Kimberly Clark’s Away-From-Home wiping division, experienced BioTech entrepreneurs, finance & private equity investors, nonwoven industry experts, and bast fibre industry veterans.
Mr. Hall is President of Machall Investments, a family office focused on the Healthcare and Technology sectors. Mr. Hall has founded several biotechnology companies including Aspreva Pharma, Creatus Biosciences and Vitaeris Bio. Mr. Hall has extensive experience with technology companies in strategic development and market planning and sits on the boards of several biotech companies.
Mr. Murphy has over 40 years of senior executive and management experience with companies serving the Away from Home wiper marketplace. Mr. Murphy served in executive leadership positions in the Away from Home divisions of Scott Paper Co. and Kimberly-Clark Corporation. He currently sits on the Governance Committee for Wasau Paper and is the Chairman of the Board of Altitude Medical, Inc. Mr. Murphy also serves as Vice Chairman of the Spitzer Center for Ethical Leadership and as a member of the Executive Board of Advisors of the School of Professional Studies, Gonzaga University.
Mr. Kenneth B. Hallat has considerable experience in the cleaning products industry. He is the founder of M-chem Technologies and serves as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Hallat also serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Novas Capital Corporation. Mr. Hallat has been a Director of Sleeman Breweries, Sun Rype Products Ltd. as well as several other public companies and non-profit organizations. In addition Mr. Hallat serves on the Advisory Boards of several family-owned businesses in the technology sector, specialty wood manufacturing and cleaning products industries in North America.
Mr. Posa is a woven and nonwoven industry veteran with over 25 years of executive experience. As a Sr. Executive, Mr. Posa has delivered successful results from start ups to $0.50 billion divisions of fortune 500 global companies. Mr. Posa is currently a principal with the Segue group, specializing in strategic planning and business development. He was formerly CEO and a board member of INDA (Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry).
Mr. Finnis is a 25 year veteran of the hemp fibre industry and has hands on experience in all areas of the hemp value chain. Mr. Finnis has overseen the installation and commissioning of several decortication and fibre refining lines in multiple countries, operated a hemp and flax fibre degumming facility in Europe, and led the creation of multiple patents dealing with bast fibre processes and products. He has also been involved with growing hemp and flax fibre in Canada, USA, and Europe. Mr. Finnis sat on the board of the Canadian Hemp Trade Alliance has successfully commercialized bast fibre products with multiple global consumer brands.
Mr. Prevost is an experienced manager of sustainable market companies with over 15 years experience. Mr. Prevost has an in depth knowledge of sustainable markets and products having overseen the operational and product flow of these companies from initial feedstock through to completed products. He has been responsible for the development of sustainable IP as well as having led successful TSXV fundraising and the listing of companies on USA markets to SEC standards.
Mr. Christopher has worked for over thirty years in Institutional Fixed Income based mainly in Toronto. He is currently the VP and Director of Montrose Development Ltd., a family-owned company involved in commercial real estate, public and private equities. Mr. Christopher also sits on two boards, Creatus Biosciences Inc. and TBF Environmental Technology Inc., and is Chair of the Gordon and Mary Christopher Foundation.
Mr. Szkudlapski is an experienced management consultant specializing in supply chain optimization, Sales and Marketing Effectiveness, and Strategy Development and Implementation. Mr. Szkudlapski is currently President of Eclipse Management Systems a consulting firm across multiple industries. He was formerly a Director of Marketing and Business Development for Scott Paper.
Mr. Stewart is a highly experienced financial executive specializing in restructuring and financial analysis. He is currently the President and founder of Rinnovo Management Ltd., an operationally focused management consulting practice offering strategic and financial advisory, interim leadership (CEO, CRO, COO, CFO, Operating Partner), profit improvement, crisis/turnaround management and fiduciary services.
